Geographic & Demographic Information Support Officer Ref: 1275 Grade M: circa £21,008 pa Here at Swindon Borough Council we have an opportunity for a creative and solutions-focused individual to join our Geographic & Demographic Information team. A key element of the role is the analysis of geographic, demographic, economic and environmental data in order to help people at all levels to understand the power of data and the benefits of Business Intelligence across the One Swindon Partnership. You will have significant IT experience and a scientific or engineering based qualification, or equivalent experience, allied with an ability to read/digitise maps and create/interpret technical plans. We’ll look to you to apply lateral thinking and developed communication skills to create and carry out research projects, presenting your results to all levels of the organisation and the public.
