GIS Masters Graduate-Customer Support

Midlands, UK

Salary £20,000 to £23,000

Things are really buzzing in the professional services section of my clients business, due entirely to a steady influx of new customers who are exploiting the incredible capabilities of their latest GIS applications software which incorporates powerful location/route planning capability that is both customisable and excellent value for money.  They are looking to bring in someone at recent MSc graduate level with foundation skills and knowledge of GIS who can quickly fit into the support team.

The profile I’d like to attract is a GIS graduate who is comfortable with a customer-focused role. It is essential that you can convey technical information in a manner that does not faze end-users and swamp them with technical jargon.  An effective communicator is what they need.

Your role will be to learn all about the company’s software products to the point where you will be able to provide first level support to live customers, over the phone, via email, remote access or in person. As your proficiency increases your skills will be developed to take in training and consultancy projects perhaps leading to a move into development or sales.

This is a great opportunity to shape your career for the future.  The client is proud of their personal development policy and they will offer all of the support and investment that your skills portfolio requires to take your career forward.

Interested, then please submit a copy of your CV in Word format to Alan Carnell?  My email address is [log in to unmask].  You have my word that your application will be treated in the strictest of confidence and none of my clients will be made aware of your details without your prior agreement.

IF YOU ARE ALREADY REGISTERED WITH CONCURRENT APPOINTMENTS THEN CALL ME TO DISCUSS YOUR SUITABILITY.

YOU ARE ONLY ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU HOLD A PASSPORT FROM AN EU COUNTRY OR YOU POSSESS A VALID UK WORK VISA.
