The PRNI 2013 workshop will be held June 22-24 in Philadelphia.
http://www.prni.org

It is an existing venue that unites the brain mapping community with
the pattern recognition and machine learning communities to study brain
imaging with new powerful data processing tools.

Keynote speakers
=================

This year we are excited to welcome as keynote speakers Steven Smith,
associate director of FMRIB Oxford, and Tom Mitchell, chair of Carnegie
Mellon University's machine learning department.

Tutorial program
=================

PRNI's tutorials are a great opportunity to learn from the experts of
multivariate data analysis in neuroimaging.

* Introduction to the early detection of schizophrenia and Alzheimer's
  disease, by Christian Gaser

* An introduction to regularized risk minimization for predicting from
  neuroimaging data, by Alexandre Gramfort

* Alternatives to support vector machines in neuroimaging: ensembles of
  decision trees for classification and information mapping, by Jonas
  Richiardi

Call for papers
================

PRNI welcomes original papers on multivariate predictive models of
neuroimaging data. 4-page long papers should be submitted before March
27th following instructions on http://www.prni.org/submit.html

Accepted papers will be published as proceedings on IEEE Xplore. Last
year's proceedings can be accessed at
http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/mostRecentIssue.jsp?punumber=6294582

Student travel awards
======================

3 student travel awards of 500$ US each will be awarded to students
