She is an advocate working for Sheffield Centre for Independent Living and she recently ran a course for disabled members for which she invited someone from the charity AIDIS to come and demonstrate assistive tech equipment for computers. She was disappointed with the person who came. In her words "although he brought a lot of different mouses and keyboards he didnt seem to have a real grasp on the either the latest technologies or more concerningly disabilites in general."
