Call for Papers Colleagues are invited to participate in the Call for Papers for the 5th Conference on Archival Information Databases. The Conference is promoted by the Brazilian Archivists Association and will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from the 4th - 6th June, 2013. There will be simultaneous translation from Portuguese and English. The conference will have three distinct topics relating to the main themes of the Conference: 1- Digitisation: the dilemma between access and the challenges of managing and preserving collections; 2- Archives and memory in the World Wide Web era; 3- The impact of free access to information. The closing date for proposals is 10 February 2013.
