If you have the problem isolated to the board, you could try moving some of the individual chip (if they are on sockets) from one board to another to isolate the problem further. We can repair or replace these boards. All international service/sales require pre-payment. In this case, it would not exceed the price of the board plus configuration and PROMS (1200USD). Shipping must be arranged completely from your end as we don’t do enough of that to keep up with all the requirements. We can guarantee that the board is functional in one of our DACOs, but not that it will correct your problem. Feel free to contact me with any other questions. There are a few different possible causes for a "System hung" alarm.
As you might expect, this is just a standard response when the processor
cannot load its initial program. The difficult part is isolating the
problem. We can do this for you at our facility, but it would not be
practical to attempt repair without at least one additional DACO to use for
spare/test parts. Feel free to contact me directly if you need further
assistance. The DACO is still extremely popular and we have a great deal of
expertise with it.

we are facing communication problem with daco mp (v 2.0d) of Siemens D500
XRD machine. When i start it, i am getting display, "Fatal Error System
Hung" and buzzer sounds continuously. What c'd be wrong. I assume I/O board
has gone bad. Is there any way to figure out and rectify the problem?
