Ceὸl ‘s Craic will be screening the experimental documentary Arise, You Gallant Sweeneys! as part of a programme for January celebrating connections with other Celtic nations. This OutsideFilm production documents the stories of a dwindling generation of Irish men who emigrated to cities on the British mainland to find work in the 1950s and 60s. Working in partnership with a group of these original migrants the film crew follows as they retrace their steps back to villages and families left a generation before.
