Dear Larson, I wrote a blog article how to calculate regional volume using a script "get_totals.m" by Ged Ridgway and WFU PickAtlas. http://www.nemotos.net/?p=292 This is a step-by-step guide to calculate regional volume, so if you make a caudate mask using PickAtlas, you should be able to calculate the caudate volume without much pain... Hope this helps, Kiyotaka 2013/1/16 Jordan Larson <[log in to unmask]>: > Hey SPMers, > > I know in SPM there is an easy way to get GM, WM, CSF, and total intracranial volume. I was wondering if anyone knew of a method or toolbox that I could use to extract grey matter volumes from a specific area (in this case the caudate). I want to get each participant's individual grey matter volume from the caudate head and body. I have a feeling that either MarsBaR or WFU Pickatlas could potentially accomplish this task, but I am not quite sure how. Therefore, if anyone has any information about this matter, I would greatly appreciate any feedback you may have. > > Jordan Larson > Department of Psychology > Southern Illinois University Carbondale -- Kiyotaka Nemoto, M.D., Ph.D. Assistant Professor Department of Psychiatry Division of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine University of Tsukuba 1-1-1Tennodai Tsukuba, Ibaraki 305-8575, Japan E-mail: [log in to unmask]
