For anyone based in - or visiting - Los Angeles, please see the link below for details of a talk/workshop with myself and Dr Helen Jacey (Bournemouth University, UK): 'Screenwriting Meets Creativity Meets Gender', Friday 22nd February at The Writers' Store.

Drawing from theories and critical ideas, but firmly rooted in screenwriting practice, the workshop will explore notions of and engagements with creativity and gender in the script development process.  It will encourage participants to consider their development methodologies and their cultural representations whilst taking a screenplay from ideation to on-the-page execution.
