Dear All, I went down to Brighton last week to visit John McGivering. Many of you may remember him as a member of Council, or be aware of his work for the Reader's Guide. You may well have his Kipling Dictionary on your bookshelf. John is approaching his ninetieth birthday, and has had to move from home to hospital, and then into a nursing home. Though he has great friends in Brighton, he must be feeling rather isolated. He is bed-bound but still very "with it". I know that he would appreciate contact from friends and well-wishers. John is at the Adelaide Nursing Home, 203/205 New Church Road, Hove BN3 4ED. Best regards, John
