Dear Nicola,

I am a clinical trial coordinator in a primary care clinical trials unit. I’d be very interested to know more about this exciting series, and keen to help if I could. Would you be able to contact me off-list, so that we can discuss in more detail and I can put forward ideas to senior colleagues? My address is [log in to unmask]

Best wishes,

Rhiannon

Nicola,

I’m a medical writer and this sounds absolutely fascinating.

I don’t know that I’m quite the kind of person you’re looking for but if I can help, my address is [log in to unmask]

Subject: [PSCI-COM] TV series - home remedies put to trial

Good morning everyone,

I'm currently developing a TV series that would put DIY / home remedies for various non-life-threatening ailments through clinical trial. The sorts of things people talk about on internet forums and swear by. The sorts of things that would never normally be put to trial because they wouldn't make anyone any money. (In addition, the series would offer a platform to combat dangerous misinformation that circulates on the internet - obviously these 'remedies' wouldn't be put to trial!).

While we have plenty of GPs and specialists on board, I'm now looking for individuals or organisations that might be able to help design the trials.  I'd gratefully receive any recommendations from the group.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best wishes,

Nicola
