Congratulations to Helen Buckley Woods and Andrew Booth from Information Resources at Scharr at the University of Sheffield who are the successful recipients of the LIRG Scan Award 2012/13.

The Scan is an award which responds to an "urgent" question, which in this case was - what do LIS practitioners want from research?  This evidence will be used to inform LIRG/CILIP research policy.

Helen and Andrew will conduct a scoping review of practitioner engagement with research.  They will provide a draft report by 15 June and present the findings at the Pre-Umbrella conference event on 1 July.
