Hi Cara, You may also want to consider OpenAthens LA which is SAML-compatible (Shibboleth is the most popular type of 'SAML' authentication) and is in theory easier for in-house IT staff to administer than Shibboleth. Eduserv should be able to give you more information about this option. Pricing is the same as for traditional Athens. We moved from traditional Athens to LA over a year ago and although the set-up was a pain, it's run pretty smoothly on the whole. It has the big advantage of users being able to use their usual IT login for access to subscription services rather than having to set up and remember a separate Athens login.
