The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting geospatial web applications and services for specific customers.  You will initially be responsible for migration of a web based risk assessment tool to the latest version of ESRI client-side technologies.   The role therefore requires a thorough understanding of how to use C#, ASP.NET and SilverLight to consume and visualise data exposed by REST services.  

Essential technical skills

·         At least 3 years work experience developing C#-based web applications and ASP.NET/SilverLight

·         Understanding of spatially-enabled applications, particularly using ESRI ArcGIS Server client APIs in conjunction with Bing Maps

·         Basic understanding of SQL

·         Understanding of modern software design (OO, design patterns, etc.)

·         Working to commercial software quality process

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 basic + benefits
