 Purdue University – Tenure-track Position in Geodesy and Active Tectonics. 
The Department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences at Purdue University seeks an Earth scientist who conducts innovative research on active tectonic processes using geodetic tools. Individuals who use geodetic observational techniques and apply them to the study of the lithosphere, earth processes and structure, earthquakes, rheology, mantle-lithosphere interactions, or crustal tectonics are particularly encouraged to apply. The appointee is expected to interact with, complement, and strengthen ongoing research activities in the Geology & Geophysics group at Purdue. Candidates must have completed the PhD by the time of appointment, and postdoctoral experience is preferred. This appointment will be tenure-track and at the Assistant Professor level, to begin in August 2013. The appointee is expected to develop and maintain a vigorous, externally funded research program and to teach at the undergraduate and graduate level.
