Hi Lynne We always have ours on display in the main entrance. I always though it was a contractual obligation. When we have visits from some boards (Construction Skills, BCS, CIEH and Trinity in particular) they always check to see if the approval certificate is on display and up to date and we've just had one from SQA which says it must be displayed in a prominent place. Some boards check some don't. i.e. Our centre charter from CIEH says: Centre or Trainer Charter and to continue to deliver CIEH qualifications for another year. The charter confirms centre and trainer commitment to quality and should be displayed accordingly. You'd have thought a college would be happy to show them off!
