I'm trying to put a couple of disabled friends in touch with a useful advocate. A brief synopsis is that they are a married couple who have been assessed by social services as being able to pay for their care, except that in actual fact they have had to take out a loan in order to do so, which is clearly going to bankrupt them in the medium term future since there is no obvious source of repaying the loan. This is all way outside my "area", so I'm hoping to link them up with someone who knows what they're talking about who might be able to help them fight their corner.
