The college wishes to incorporate a staff photograph into their emails, both internally and externally. The reason is for Safeguarding purposes in order that staff can be recognised.
Some photographs already exist as part of the college information system because they were taken for staff id badges.
1. Does the college need to get permission from staff for their existing photograph to be used in their emails?
2. Can the college insist that the other staff have their photograph taken for use in emails.
Any advice appreciated.
