*Please forward to colleagues in your College* Teaching remotely: a web-conferencing showcase Wednesday 6th February 2013 Collaborate is the new name for Elluminate and the tool has evolved significantly. It enables you to run your own web conference or virtual class, talk to your students, look at their desktops and interact with them in real time from the comfort of your own office or home. You can schedule Collaborate sessions via the ‘add an activity’ drop-down menu within Moodle. Collaborate is easy to use and has a broad range of applications from direct individual student support to remote lectures, remote guest expert seminars, or simply classroom recordings, that can be made available in Moodle for later revision. Aim of the session: To showcase some excellent examples in the use of Collaborate. To encourage and facilitate the use of the tool across the Bloomsbury Colleges.
