Title: Project Statistician

Location: Berkshire, UK

Salary: up to £65k DOE

Type: Permanent with some home working available

Small to mid-sized clinical trials organisation with an excellent
reputation within industry and strong presence in the EEA, seeking an
experienced Project Statistician to work across several projects and phases
over a number of Therapy areas. Particular interest and majority focus of
work is within Observational studies so experience or a keen in interest in
this area is favourable.
This role would suit an experienced senior/project statistician keen to
work within a smaller organisation where your skills and experience are of
great influence. Fantastic salary as organisation's ethos is to reward

gain great insight into the inner working of a business as well as further
technical understanding within statistics. The company is growing so

Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in the statistical support provided across all
work requiring statistical input; with a particular focus on observational
studies
• Participates in all aspects of client-related work; proposal preparation,
protocol and statistical analysis plan development, conducting the required
statistical analysis, providing and interpreting to the client the results
of the analysis.
• Proactively participates in the department of statistics development
activities – reviewing/ developing new SOPs; developing the needed document
templates; proposing approaches to enhance our interactions with clients

Strong expertise in a wide range of statistical methodologies, and ability
to identify and pursue adaptation or development of new methodology
• Significant experience in addressing all statistical aspects of
observational studies
• Experience working at CROs and having direct involvement on
client-related projects
• Strong leadership, organizational and time-management skills
• Good understanding of areas supported by statistics
• Excellent communication skills

Education and Experience

MSc or Ph.D. in Statistics (or equiv) with significant industry experience,
ideally within a CRO

Experience working with Observational studies a plus
Excellent written and spoken English
Must be eligible to work in the EEA
