Burwalls is historically a small annual meeting with the aim of encouraging and equipping those responsible for teaching statistics (and evidence based medicine) to medical students and other health care professionals.

This year the meeting will be in Oxford, 16th-17th September.  Scheduled events include a Bring'n'Buy sale of interactive teaching ideas, a Presentation Challenge to a small group of current students, and competitions for the best slide(s) for teaching subjects such as confidence intervals, in addition to a programme of invited and submitted posters and oral presentations. Discounted registration is available until May for anyone submitting an abstract or taking part in one of the activities - see website for details.
