 We are looking for an enthusiastic statistician with experience of STATA.

 

The post-holder will be responsible for analysing data collected in the NIHR/HTA funded LEAP trial of exercise as an aid to smoking cessation during pregnancy. The analysis will examine the effect of the exercise intervention on smoking status, and on secondary outcomes including depression and birth outcomes.

 

The position will suit an individual withstrong organisational and statistical skills, capable of independent decision-making. The post holder will have research experience in epidemiology, public health, medical statistics or a related discipline and experience in the analysis of large datasets using STATA. Experience in project management is highly desirable. AMasters level degree in medical statistics, epidemiology or a related discipline is essential. A PhD in medical statistics, epidemiology or a related discipline is desirable.

 

 

The salary for the role will be within the range £37,382 - £38,522.
