Hi Lesley,
Blue badge holders are automatically eligible for a permit. Non blue badge holders can apply for a temporary permit and the application form asks for a relevant professional (e.g. GP, Consultant or Physiotherapist) to support the application. Details are on our web site at:

Subject: Accessible Parking Spaces
Hello
Do any of you have a policy (either written or unwritten) that give priority parking to those with mobility difficulties that do not qualify for a blue badge? If so what is your policy?
Thanks
Lesley

Oshogatsu (or Shogatsu) (Shinto) - Shinto New Year, one of the most popular occasions for shrine visits
5 Birthday of Guru Gobind Singh (Sikh) - Guru Gobind Singh (1666-1708) was the tenth and last of the Sikh Gurus. He instituted the Five Ks and established the Order of the Khalsa
6 Christmas Day (Armenian Orthodox) (Christian) - Armenian Christians celebrate Christ's birth at Epiphany, except for Armenians in the Holy Land, who celebrate Christmas on January 19th
7 Christmas Day (Ethiopian Rastafarian) - Rastafarians believe Ethiopia to be their spiritual homeland, and a place to which they want to return.
Christmas Day (Orthodox Christian) - Most Orthodox churches use the Julian rather than the Gregorian version of the Western calendar. As a result, they celebrate Christmas 13 days later than other Christian churches.

27 Holocaust Memorial Day - Holocaust Memorial Day provides an opportunity for everyone to learn lessons from the Holocaust, Nazi persecution and subsequent genocides and apply them to the present day to create a safer, better future
31 Birthday of Guru Har Rai (Sikh) - Guru Har Rai (1630-1661) was the seventh of the Sikh Gurus
