Dear John,

Please find attached a visual illustration of how diverse University College London is at professoriate level. The yellow circles represent minority ethnic females. According to HESA data, UCL is one of the most diverse institutions at senior levels. We also have some wonderfully progressive and innovative equalities initiatives in place. So, as Patrick says, there may be some exceptions in smaller universities but for the majority of large institutions (especially Russell Group), this is the reality.

Best wishes,

I’m sure you are correct, Patrick, but the RAC takes Equality very seriously.

John

Thank you John. RAC must be the exception because this is not what I see across the snow peaked institutions I know.

Best wishes,

Patrick

Not always true, of our 4 professors, two are not white!   [NB. My language is in the context of the article’s title]
