Dear Malcolm,
In my opinion, it would be the most safe to go with one time investment to use airfuge to remove the chylomicron in just 10 minutes, no chemical or dilution will be involved in this, you can measure almost everything on the chylomicron free sample except triglycerides,
The airfuge is available from Beckman coulter, it’s very small bench top centrifuge, the only thing my need some space is the compressor needed to derive the rotor,
I hope this is helpful,

Subject: LipoClear

Dear All

We have recently evaluated LipoClear reagent for clearing lipids and plan to introduce its use routinely prior to analyses of lipaemic samples for a limited number of methods.  We would be interested to hear whether other laboratories use this reagent and if so how it used, i.e. which methods do you consider are still valid after using LipoClear?  I am happy to collate responses and feedback.

Kind regards,
Malcolm
