How about if they use the old ngs vosm server - do the same ones fail and the same one succeed?

Ours should be fine with the old NGS VOMS server.

Also, we're in a change freeze this week before Christmas break, so we're unlikely to "fix" this problem until the New Year. It is clearly not urgent, since it's been ages since I've seen an NGS job even try to run at Glasgow.
