Not sure why it would suddenly stop working.

What does

 % starperl -MStarlink::Config -e 'print $Starlink::Config::StarConfig{Star_Bin}."\n"'

give?

and I assume $STARLINK_DIR/bin/astrom still exists.

The code looking for the astrom binary looks like it could be tidied up a bit.

The problem is that the autoastrom script doesn't know where the Starlink perl is. If you look at the shebang line of $STARLINK_DIR/Perl/bin/autoastrom you will see the problem.

We meant to change everything to use

 #!/bin/env starperl

but we seem to have missed a couple. If you edit that autoastrom script things might work.

Hi all,

I've istalled the latest version of GAIA (Kapuahi) and now, I'm trying to perform astrometric correction on some images.
When I run the sinple "Automatic position matching" using any of the available catalogues, I got the following error

can't execute "/home/felipe/programs/star-kapuahi/Perl/bin/autoastrom": no such file or directory (bgexec): can't execute "/home/felipe/programs/star-kapuahi/Perl/bin/autoastrom": no such file or directory

I've tried other versions but I couldn't fix the problem.
Do you have any idea how to fix it?

Cheers,
Felipe
