You should be able to do it like this:
SPM.xCon(INDEX) = smp_FcUtil('Set', NAME, TYPE, 'c', CONTRAST, SPM.xX.xKXs);
spm_contrasts(SPM);
where:
INDEX is the # of the contrast you want to change
NAME is the name of the contrast
TYPE is either "T" or "F"
CONTRAST is the actual contrast vector

Dear Colleague
Please show me how to redefine already defined contrast on Contrast manager.
I was once able to do this possibly right clicking mouse button on some open space in the Contrast manager.
Unfortunately I have lost how to do it. Renaming contrast can be done by right clicking the mouse on the contrast.
