The legal stance is to seek medical advice if the employee is fit to attend. Our policy is with opinion from OH. You will need to be mindful of what is in the employees best interest balancing resolution for all.The following book will probably cover this – mines on order!Discrimination Law and Occupational Health Practice

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] Fitness to attend disciplinary Hi everyone!

I am looking to write a local policy/guideline on assessing fitness to attend disciplinary hearing as this is something we are asked occasionally to do.

I am wondering if anyone has any examples of such an assessment and references. I am struggling to find anything in my Fitness for work and OH nursing books.

Thank you in advance,

Jen Ellis
