Poetry, Music, Drama: the creation of contemporary opera Wednesday 16 January 2013 - 10:00 - 18:00 Chancellor's Hall, Senate House, University of London IMR in association with the Institute of English Studies This one-day conference brings together poets, composers, producers and academics to discuss the collaborative processes involved in the creation of contemporary opera. Speakers will include: Michael Symmonds-Roberts, Fiona Sampson, John Casken, Robert Saxton, Liza Lim, David Beard, Jonathan Cross and Andrew Watts.
