"The spectres of Marx. Why this plural? Would there be more than one of them?"

Contributions are welcome for a one-day symposium on Hauntology  
organised to mark 20 years since the publication of Jacques Derrida's  
'Spectres of Marx'.

The keynote speaker is cultural theorist Mark Fisher who is editor of  
the 'Capitalist Realism', the K-Punk blog and author of 'Ghosts of My  
Life' a forthcoming book on hauntology.

The symposium will form part of the 19th Bradford Film Festival and  
will be accompanied by screenings of various films relating to  
hauntology.

The symposium will be held at the National Media Museum in Bradford on  
Wednesday 17 April 2013.

We welcome papers on any aspect of hauntology including:

Sonic Hauntology
Cinematic Hauntology
Hauntology Online
Being and Non-being
Politics,Ideology and Hauntology
The Philosophy of Hauntology

Please send 200-word proposals with a 50-word biographical note by 1

MeCCSA is the subject association for the field of media, communication and cultural studies in UK Higher Education.
