A Really Useful Half Day: Researching UK Official Statistics using ons.gov.uk Afternoon training course: practical session on finding UK official statistics using ons.gov.uk
When: Tuesday February 5th, 2pm– 5pm (Registration 1.40pm)
Course: This is a practical workshop with limited places.
Cost: £25 payable on the day. (If you can bring your own wifi enabled laptop/mobile device, £20.) Tea/coffee included.
ONS is responsible for
the production of a wide range of economic and social statistics. This
workshop provides an opportunity to explore www.ons.gov.uk
and learn how you can search for and view statistical information and
also customize and download statistical data specific to your needs. The
course is suitable for all levels of experience and information
sectors. If you need more confidence tracking down
and viewing statistical information online, then this workshop is a very
good place to start.
Please note it will be a hands on session so places are limited. Book early to avoid disappointment.
