Join CILIP West Midlands for a free event incorporating presentations on
promoting your library service and a keynote from Barbara Band (CILIP Vice
President 2013) on promoting the profession. You will also have the
opportunity to take a tour of Birmingham City University's Mary Seacole
Library*, and hear from local and national representatives of CILIP and its
branches and groups to learn more about recent, current and planned
activities. This annual event celebrates the achievements of the local
region and its members, as well as providing an opportunity to learn more
about CILIP.

**All library and cafe areas of the Seacole building are accessible to
wheelchair users.*

Mary Seacole is accessible via public transport. The nearest train station
is Five Ways, or you can get a bus (there are frequent buses on a number of
different routes from Birmingham city centre) - the bus stop opposite the
campus is Westbourne Road, St. George's Church (opp). Use the postcode B15
3TN to help you plan your journey.


*Parking*

There are limited parking spaces for students at City South Campus - there
is a pay-on-foot car park system in operation. Free disabled parking is
also available.
