Apologies for parallel posting

********************************

Thanks a lot to everybody who has so far contributed to this rich thread!

What I'm also interested is in finding instances of early and classical film theoretical or critical writing which celebrate cinema's power to enhance or enlarge reality, and on making the invisible visible. Balazs would be a starting point … and Bazin, of course … but there are others, too, of course.

Once again thanks for all your ideas and suggestions on this topic! You may also mail me off-list at [log in to unmask]

Best, Henry
