We did the pilot and it was a nightmare as the data files are not available until the student logs into the test. Also the test is not on line it is  the paper version scanned in and the only online part is students have to download zipped data files and upload the finished work. Also there is a different system that these tests run from they do not go through cat global. There was no information from Edexcel after I booked them to inform me of this ! all in all the whole pilot was a nightmare and as such all my ICT are now doing paper based.

Have any of you run the Edexcel Functional Skills  on-demand ICT tests??

 

I have noticed that the students we are registering for Edexcel Apprenticeships are being enrolled for the on-demand version of FS ICT

 

But I can’t seem to find any administration information for this???
