We did, once! The students need plenty of practice with the software as the documents they manipulate are not Microsoft and so do not do everything they and we are used to them doing. We ended up with some very bright but distressed students after this exam as they couldn’t make it do what they wanted to do. Since then we have stuck to paper based ICT exams and downloaded the files. (that’s another story – with City and Guilds asking us what the password was!!!)

Have any of you run the Edexcel Functional Skills  on-demand ICT tests??

 

I have noticed that the students we are registering for Edexcel Apprenticeships are being enrolled for the on-demand version of FS ICT

 

But I can’t seem to find any administration information for this???
