Associated with the 13th Durham Blackboard Users Conference (http://www.dur.ac.uk/lt.team/conference/) is a practical workshop on Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) lead by Stephen Vickers and Simon Booth (ceLTIc:developers --- www.celtic-project.org). The workshop is free.
