LEADING THE TEAM

Position:  Biostatistical Programming Manager (Full time)
Start Date: Jan/Feb 2013

Brief


Excellent opportunity for a senior statistician to work in a large pharmaceutical company as part of a big team. Providing support and act as a study lead programmer. This is a great opportunity if you are a biostatistician looking for career progression within a large pharma company.

You will be working within a team of statisticians in one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the world. Contributing to work in trials and multi-phase projects. Writing and validating SAS programs to produce datasets and presentation-ready output. Your work will directly represent the company in many large publications, regulatory submissions and clinical trial progression.

Education and experience


  *   A BSc, MSc or a PhD in statistics or equivalent degrees.
  *   Previous experience in statistics preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.

Experience/Skills


  *   Hands on experience of SAS programming within clinical trials, Pharma, CRO.
  *   SAS programming expertise in BASE, STAT, GRAPH, Macro, and SQL modules.
  *   Knowledge of CDISC standards.
  *   Fundamental project planning and management skills.
  *   Good communication of English in a business environment
