Statistical Models and Methods for non-Euclidean Data
              with Current Scientific Applications

                Leeds, UK 2nd - 4th July 2013

                       Call for Abstracts

The Leeds Annual Statistical Research (LASR) workshop 2013 will focus
on non-standard statistical models motivated by novel applications;
the models include multivariate skew distributions, distributions on
manifolds such as circle, torus, shape spaces, rotation matrices.
This is the first International Workshop dedicated solely on such a
timely theme.

We are inviting abstracts from anyone wishing to give a contributed
presentation at this workshop. Abstracts should be one or two
paragraphs in length, outlining the work that you would like to
present. Please indicate whether you would prefer to present your
work as a short talk or as a poster presentation.

The deadline for abstract submission is Thursday, 28 February 2013.

We are pleased to announce that the following leading scientists are
expected to speak at LASR 2013:

    Adelchi Azzalini (Università di Padova)
Fred Bookstein (Universities of Vienna and Washington)
Walter Gilks (University of Leeds, Rothamsted Research)
    Thomas Hamelryck (University of Copenhagen)
Michael Hastings (MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge)
    Chris Jones (Open University)
