As we have opened our last Cinitest package yesterday, the information of Trevor seemed also very useful for us. I have sent an e-mail to Enoltech, but the answer from Jenna is already clear enough. A colleague of mine is suggesting to switch to Benedict's reagent from Sigma Aldrich. Has someone experience with that reagent? We did try to contact the Clinitest supplier via the link you provided but unfortunately had this response from them... Dear Jenna, I understand your predicament with the withdrawal for sale of Clinitest tablets by Bayer internationally. We have secured stocks of the product for use in wine analysis but not for pharmaceutical use. The trademark "Clinitest" is held by Bayer and its use is strictly controlled by them internationally and we are not in a position to supply product other than for wine analysis and only from Australia. Sorry for the difficulties you are having with sourcing this product but supplies are limited and strictly controlled. Kind regards, John Vale General Manager Enoltech So it still looks like supplies are limited, not available for pharmaceutical use and therefore very difficult to get hold of in the UK.
