A recent class member asked if there are any books teaching the use of SPM software. We know there are several excellent books to teach the fundamentals of fMRI-based research; and that there are several books about fMRI data analysis. Are there any software-specific books, teaching the new user, or is that documentation limited to online tutorials and (more for reference than teaching), and the large SPM book ( "Statistical Parametric Mapping: The Analysis of Functional Brain Images" edited by Friston, Ashburner, Kiebel, Nichols and Penny) which is a good reference book, but not a teaching book.
