Second Call for Contributions to The 7th Annual Irish Workshop on Mathematics Learning and Support Centres

The 7th Annual Irish Workshop on Mathematics Learning and Support Centres will take place on Friday 7th December 2012 in Queen's University Belfast.
 
The conference theme this year is "Promoting Learning Support and Engagement with Mathematics".
 
The keynote speakers are Professor Sarah Moore from the University of Limerick, and Dr. Paul Andrews from the University of Wales, Newport. Titles and abstracts for the keynote talks are available on the conference website at http://supportcentre.maths.nuim.ie/mathsnetwork/node/21.
 
Call for Contributions.
Submissions are now invited for the conference, with a closing date for submissions of 9th November. Submissions should be sent to [log in to unmask].

We are inviting titles and abstracts (100 words or less) for short talks.

We are also inviting contributions for the Round-Robin discussion. These contributions should be no more than one page (see template on website, link below). They should describe initiatives that you have tried in relation to the conference theme above. The completed contributions will be collated by the IMLSN and circulated to delegates in advance of the conference. Each contributor will have five minutes at the conference to present on their initiative, and then a discussion on all initiatives will follow.
