Dear Colleagues

Supporting Research: The Role of the Educational Developer

The SEDA Papers Committee is seeking an editor to collect short case studies under the working title above.

Many Educational Developers will have experienced increasing expectations of their support for the broad scope of activities which occur under the umbrella of 'academic practice'. This includes support for researchers and those supervising research students.

As the editor of this SEDA Special you will be expected to draw together practical examples of effective practices in the form of case studies of how such work has been undertaken, with lessons learned and recommendations to others adopting related approaches. You will also be asked to write a short introduction which sets the scene as an overview/preface to the publication.

The format of the SEDA Special is outlined on http://seda.ac.uk/publications.html?p=5_5

Please contact [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> by Friday 30th November with your expression of interest in the form of an initial 500 - 1000 words indicating the foci and outline content you would suggest for this publication.

Kind regards

Mark
