Places available on short online courses


A small number of places are available for study in January 2013 on the following short online courses offered by the Centre for Archive and Information Studies (CAIS) at the University of Dundee:

- Web 2.0 for Information Professionals (with Kate Theimer (@archivesnext)) - 9 weeks
- Strategic Management for Information Professionals (with Susan Mansfield) - 15 weeks

The deadline for applications is 16 November. Courses begin 14 January.

CAIS courses are taught by subject experts from the UK, USA and Canada and are provided in a fully supported online learning environment.



The courses are ideal for anyone seeking to acquire or refresh knowledge in these rapidly evolving areas of professional practice.



All short courses and Masters degrees offered by CAIS are accredited by the Archives and Records Association, UK and Ireland and by Records and Information Management Professionals, Australasia. The CAIS team was 'highly commended' by the Information and Records Management Society in their awards in 2007.
