Have you talked to Joyce Lewis in ECS? She has excellent contacts. Or is that bit of the university too media oriented?

Subject: [PSCI-COM] Policy and Communications consultant needed

Hello,

I'm looking to recruit someone to help with our policy and communications work here at the Software Sustainability Institute (University of Southampton). Apart from plugging the job on psci-comm, I was wondering whether anyone had any advice about advertising this kind of role? We're looking at putting the advert out on jobs.ac.uk, Guardian jobs and maybe on Monster too. Any help would be very much appreciated!

In short, we're looking for someone who can write, can put together a strong argument and has a general knowledge of science. It's a two-year post, on a salary scale of £27,578 to £33,884.

The basic information is in the job advert:
https://www.jobs.soton.ac.uk/Vacancy.aspx?ref=175612FP

I also wrote a blog post with a bit more information about the job and working for the Institute:

Regards,

Simon.
