The Department of Architecture of Izmir University of Economics is seeking candidates to fill full-time positions beginning in the Spring of 2013. In particular, dynamic and innovative educators are sought with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Computational Design Methods and Practices Sustainability Studies and Practices / Energy Use in Buildings Construction Science and/or Structural Design for Architectural Practices Qualified educators with other areas of expertise are also welcomed to apply. Academic responsibilities for these positions will include teaching design studio + 2 courses per semester, in addition to serving on department committees. Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated record of excellence in teaching and research as well as those holding the terminal degree of PhD. The Department of Architecture is an academic unit of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design at Izmir University of Economics. Current enrollment in our degree programs comprises over 250 undergraduate and 25 graduate students pursuing the degrees of Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture, and Master of Design Studies.
