Preventing Pests by IPM / Preservation Advisory Centre workshop 10 January 2013 Led by David Pinniger, Independent Consultant Entomologist, this one-day workshop introduces Integrated Pest Management (IPM). The course is aimed at anyone with responsibility for the care of libraries, archives and collections. Participants will learn: * the main insect pests: what they need to live, how to identify them and the damage they cause * how to prevent pests becoming established * how to select the most appropriate treatments to control pests * how to set up an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programme.
