Catherine Delano-Smith was Reader in historical geography at the University of Nottingham when she took early retirement to concentrate on the history of cartography. She co-founded the Maps and Society lecture series (held at the Warburg Institute) and is Editor of Imago Mundi: the International Journal for the History of Cartography.

Lecture: 7.30pm.
