The artist Clifford Harper has produced a number of books in which image and text are closely related - many of them illustrated poems (eg City of Dreadful Night).  Samples of his images and details of some the books can be found on his Agraphia Press website (click on the red dot to enter):

Harper's work has often been inspired by the Belgian artist Frans Masereel, who 'wrote' a number of stories without words, some of which are available online.

Hello

We have had an enquiry and wondered if anyone out there could help us.

We have someone interested in fiction and image.  There is a book called "The Future of Text and Image, Collected Essays on Literary and Visual Conjunctures.  Does anyone know of any similar titles?

Does anyone know of any fiction or poety with image and text?  One author we know about is W G Sebald but we wondered if there were any other examples out there.

Any help or guidance would be very much appreciated.
