Thinking about those who are having difficulty finding a suitable mentor, may I suggest that people consider (a) taking a mentor from a different geographical area and working largely by email and (b) accepting a mentor from a different area of the profession? With busy working lives, using email as the main means of communication is often practical even where people actual live and/or work quite close together, and a mentor from a different sphere of information work can have a usefully different view. -- Sheila Thomas BA MCLIP MWeldI Weldasearch Manager TWI Ltd, Granta Park, CB21 6AL, UK www.weldasearch.com This e-mail is issued subject to our e-mail disclaimer statement.
